Elaine @chroma.knitsFinished the cable knit hat for my Grandma-in-law. Last time we visited she mentioned not having a warm hat and being worried about having to leave the house to go to hospital for any reason.
She's a former knitter who's now nearly blind so I thought a cable would be a good pattern so she can feel it, rather than colourwork she wouldn't really be able to see.
I hope it brings her some joy because she's not having a good time of it these days.
