time to sort, identify, and sell - the winters growth π
i am going to downscale the number species i grow. profit has proven best at 100 species options; very good sweetspot. but with the caveat that volume is a huge problem at that scale and a headache when a lot die off in winter because of temperature swings. so if accounting for losses; fewer but more stable sales at higher margins with higher volume per species will hopefully do better longterm.
i don't remember if i ever made a post about that one time I found a box in a wardrobe with some anubias (submersed); and it was still alive, and the box even had a bunch of shrimp. it had been there for six months; was supposed to be just a week to kill some nasty algae on the anubias.
well, i just found a bag i had misplaced since moving in back at the end of december. emersed this time.
this is why i love #anubias and #microsorum #fern!
multiple hydrocotyle leucocephala flowers have appeared :) they are very tiny.

Things are starting to shape up! (don't mind the paint job ...I ran out of paint)
More or less done with the second shelf! Just need to fit 2x more 45L tanks into it and buy another light panel for the bottom row. Also stuffed a 75L tank into the 54L shelf, might try get another 2x of the same design rather than 4x more 54L.
I originally planned for 16x more aquariums, but now I think I'll go for an additional 10x π
