Ich nutze seit über einem jahr @GrapheneOS auf einem refurbed Pixel 8a und habe nur wenige Apps über #Aptoide installiert. Der Rest alles via @fdroidorg. Mir fehlt nichts.

Zero confidence in it now.

Just tried downloading #TotalCommander from aptoide.
The displayed version 9999.9999.999.999 gave a loop of advertising pop-ups.

No longer confident wtf aptoide screens apps for.
I wouldn't use apps downloaded from aptoide on any device with my banking details on it.
(Other version are to be found behind the "Other versions" button.)
EDIT: Rechecked, date on that version has changed to 2025.

Got a ~AUD$100 #Android #TVBox from China.
The Google #Launcher/start screen it arrived with was ghastly.
#PlayStore is pretty much un-usable.
Effectively no search for apps.
Would not let Firefox install.
Didn't like scrolling down. 💩
Installed #Aptoide (EDIT: ❌️❌️❌️❌️) from their website.
Installed #Projectivity launcher from Aptoide. And Firefox. (And Kodi but that looks like a lot of work to get set up. What is a PVR anyway?)
And #NewPipe from GitHub. And VLC. And #SBSOnDemand.
Usable now.
