"Do Linux Phones even have trusted execution environments on board?"
Do you know if this is the case on Linux? And on browsers on Linux?
Nog een goede reden om niet Google Captcha te gebruiken op je website, maar een alternatief zoals hCaptcha.
De nieuwe reCaptcha van Google met QR-code werkt niet op sommige besturingssystemen voor smartphones. De beveiligingsmethode vereist namelijk Google-diensten op het apparaat. Telefoons als de Fairphone 6 met /e/ OS hebben die diensten niet omdat ze een alternatief willen bedien.

Personally, I resist using apps that only are provided and work on big tech platforms. I manage to do most of what I want.

There is an interesting page in Dutch about #appdwang:
I can bank via the browser, everything below €5000 (I use ASNBank). Identity verification sucks, but often there are options to do it without an app as well. Like going with your id to an office, or someone is visiting you to verify your id.
I use preferably only free and open source apps, native for Linux. Using the browser is also totally fine for me.
I oppose using apps that only are available via Google or Apple, or that only run on their operating systems.
