Eh ben, c'était vraiment très facile de déménager TrueNAS sur un nouvel appareil. Il faut :

• Aller dans les paramètres et exporter la configuration.
• Éteindre l'appareil.
• Installer TrueNAS sur le nouvel appareil.
• Sortir les disques de l'ancien et les mettre dans le nouveau.
• Démarrer le nouveau.
• Importer la config et redémarrer.

J'ai bien pris mon temps à chaque étape histoire d'être sûre de pas faire de connerie évidemment, donc en tout ça m'a pris un peu plus d'une heure, mais mis à part mon DHCP qui lui a pas redonné la bonne IP (alors que je lui avais dit de le faire) tout est revenu spontanément (même les containers que j'avais ajoutés à la main avec docker build et docker compose.)

So tonight I spent some time going through Aoostar's troubleshooting and I think we've narrowed down the issue to a power supply problem. Their steps were clear and it's great this miniPC can be both brick powered and PD powered. Really helped narrow down the issue!

Now to see what they say and what they'll do about it. So far so good!

Spent the whole weekend trying to get something running smoothly on my Aoostar R1. All of the sudden this past week it started locking up or shutting down when getting under load. Glad it's not been a primary machine and only a test bed since I picked it up in October. It's main purpose is to eventually take over as my media server.

Shot an email off to Aoostar and got a response back in a few hours, which is great. Gotta run through their troubleshooting so I can get it swapped out.

Bums me out though that the net gain for migrating 64TB of data to a new server is zip, zilch, nada. 🫤
