Каждый раз себе говорю: «Рахель, не покупай китайское говно!» И каждый раз — хопа-ча — распродажа.
При абсолютной простоте получения root на Retroid Pocket 5, я провозилась с ней суммарно часа три, наверное.

So, anyone know about rooting Android phones?
Specifically, I have a Sony Xperia that's a little under 5 years' old and runs Android 8, and can't be upgraded to a newer version as it is.
Would I be able to run a more modern version of Android if I rooted it?
And if so, can anyone recommend a good idiot's guide to how to do it?
Yesterday I woke up angry at the world. So I channeled my anger into getting rid of the useless #2FA #app I would otherwise need to log in to my company's account. OneLogin Protect is just an elaborate way to hide a #TOTP token while simultaneously punishing people for exercising their device ownership by #rooting their #android device. Now I have the token I can just use any other #MFA app.

KernelSU
KernelSU is a Kernel based root solution for Android devices. It features kernel-based su and root access management as well as a Module system based on overlayfs (similar to Magisk). KernelSU works whitelist-based: Only App that is granted root permission can access su, other apps cannot perceive su.
