Same. Although Amazing Engine system did nothing for me, the settings of For Fairy Queen & Countey, and Bughunters (seemingly an Aliens/Starship Troopers knockoff with the conceit of troops cloned from average Earth folks) really grabbed my interest.

Actually Bughunters got my attention even before I read the game due to a Dragon Magazine article statting out giant versions of the weirder Cambrian Era critters (Hallucigenia and the like).

Only got to run it twice, but it's a lovely little setting book.

In fact, all of the #AmazingEngine setting books were really interesting. Kromosome was a particular favorite of mine.

I was never a huge fan of the system itself, but it's a shame more stuff wasn't put out for it.

After @TJSeer reminded me of the old Amazing Engine game Magitech, I've been flipping through it. There are interesting ideas there. Could see playing in something like it using another system. Maybe Basic Roleplaying (IE: Call of Cthulhu system).
