Some time ago I found some SATA disks in the cellar. I got an adapter to look through the data, and two of them even were in working condition.
Most of the stuff had been copied twenty years ago, but I found a few AD&D modules as pdfs. They are some of those that WotC did release as free pdfs in the early 2000s. I think they didn't put much weight to this 'digital' 'pdf' thing nor to old AD&D stuff.
Strange to think there was such a time.
@YUMDM One of us bought it when it came out. Reading it was the last nail on TSR’s coffin for our group.
I still like the rolling of 3d6 in order for character generation. #unearthedarcana introduced « method V », something like « take the best 3 of 9d6 », which seemed totally cheated for us 😶
We did not even considered using anything else from that book. Except the cover 
3am thought experiment: time traveling back to Lake Geneva, WI in 1971 with a huge bankroll to replace the Blooms as the cash behind TSR. How would I direct the very first game designs and prevent the messed up business models of TSR.
So here’s my problem: Im a huge V&V fan and bringing Dee & Herman’s game “in house” (with a generous royalty system of course) makes a ton of sense…
But that means the FASERIP MSH likely never gets made; a tragedy! What would you do?
