time for another #alpineswift picture. Right now, there are not many #swifts in rehab, but an increasing number of alpineswifts. Mostly nearly fledged, sometimes too thin or lots of parasites....

I was not very active here, bc its #swift season for me. Working a lot as a volunteer in a swift rehab center. This #cute little #bird is a young #alpineswift with a difficult start in life.

Back to Berry Head, Brixham this morning as an Alpine Swift was reported there yesterday. After a bit of a wait, the bird was seen. I watched it fly about below us and then out to sea. Along with the Swift, plenty of Razorbill, Gannet and Gulls as well as Short-beaked Common Dolphin. Another birding memory made!
