And I have KARB tower on 120.300 MHz AM, from the airport parking lot so no question that it should be good reception and it is.
ATIS 134.550 says "all aircraft use caution for bird, deer and coyote"
My new #Quansheng radios can monitor - not transmit, fortunately - the air band and decode AM.
I was able to pick up ATIS (automated weather) on 134.550 MHz at KARB, the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport, from home (if I hold the radio just so). I'm sure it would be better outside.
