ARGH...

So the payment system at #AdaFruit somehow managed to be unable to charge the card I have on file for the latest #AdaBox subscription. The card that works for absolutely everything including Adafruit purchases that isn't expired. Hasn't changed. Same card. Plenty of headroom. They attempted to run it twice and it failed both times. And in the midst of emails of me explaining that the card is fine and that they needed to address this with their payment vendor, they chose not to respond to one of my emails, and I lost track of time and since I didn't sit on them to push the issue, I missed the latest AdaBox.

The conversation today, when I replied to the email I sent a month ago that went unreplied involved them telling me to make sure my card is valid, and etc etc. Tell me you skim emails without telling me you skim emails.

No way of knowing if this is fixed, but as of the moment, they say no AdaBox21 for me. Not pleased.

It seems, after a long wait, we're about to see #ADABOX shipping again! I haven't seen any commentary on it, but it might be a good idea to make sure you have valid payment details on file. I'm pretty excited!

Good news: @adafruit has resumed shipping the #adabox after being shut down for COVID-19!

Better news: the latest one has the most adorable single board microcontroller platform I've ever seen. I intentionally didn't look at the docs before powering it up, as Adafruit always ships with fun demo apps.

I actually laughed out loud a couple of times while playing with it! I handed it to my partner and at one point she shrieked in delight.
