When she was done, she did a great job cleaning up and we went through our "dad is leaving ritual" which is a fist bump, an elbow bump, and a hip bump. Nice.
These aren't exactly great ribs, but they're not bad either and she gets 3 meals out of one pack and the process of cooking them is accessible to her, so bonus.
I shop the day before she does and I take pictures of things that are on sale and offer her those as options. She makes her own decisions. Pre-cooked sauced ribs have been $9 at the local grocery store.

Bath NaturePeacock (Aglais io) - one of the earliest butterflies to appear in the spring, they hibernate as adults. I often find them in sheds in the winter, if you stay around them for too long, they make a rasping noise, possibly to deter predators
