Had a shitty meeting with my child’s school #slp #sped director, and teacher about #neurodiverse affirming care, and why their constant questioning during remote sessions to try to force AAC usage is BS. @DayWalkingRedhead Please no “advise”, and I didn’t request any. Are you a 24/7 caregiver keeping your child alive who has chronic complex medical conditions? Have you held your seizing blue child in your arms, how often do you call 911 to save your child, do you tube feed 12 hours a day to keep your child alive? Your response is #gaslighting and pushing #ablednormalcy standards. Some folx with disabilities who have upper airway restrictions and breathing concerns cannot mask!
