I know #chromebooks are #notorious for thier difficulty to allow users to replace #chromeos with a traditional #linux #distro of their choice.

A similar specs 10.1 inch convertible tablet #lenovo #ideapad #duet3 is #linux friendly (all #hardware works out-of-the-box) and available #brandnew with the sweet price of just USD 250. #linux #oem is always more expensive than regular #oem designed for #windows. Currently I run #ZorinOS16 on my ideapad duet3 and it works like a charm.
Firefoxed@benjaminhollon @Kvnklly I installed #ZorinOS16 a few months ago onto an old mbp and the wifi drivers worked first time. I’d tried a couple of other distros first and ran into that problem but Zorin worked great.

@EH I converted from #Windows10 to #PopOS on my desktop PC about a year ago. Works great for #gaming and #coding too.
About the same time I shifted from #Macos to #ZorinOS16 on my 2013 MacBook Pro and I couldn’t be happier.
