Sfera by Alex Posada and Xevi Bayona, as seen in Zolnay light festival, Pécs, in 2019. I've seen it afterwards, too, for example in Vilnius last year. In Pécs it was in a shopping mall and in Vilnius in a church. You can imagine the difference the site makes.

Usually light art festivals are held in wintertime, and the hot weather felt quite extraordinary in Pécs, Hungary, while I was attending the Zolnay light festival in June 2019. I had an official reason to be there as a part of a Finnish delegate, but I admit I had to do a search to remember what it was (a panel, possibly also a talk). Anyway, it was a super fun trip and festival, and here's Alexander Salvesen's three pieces from his Light and Shadow of Fundamental Interactions -collection, shown at the festival.
