Frankly, I miss PCMCIA, and ZIP drives. Computing that required putting chunky cards and cassettes and stuff into drives. Old 90s anime style computing.

I know some of you know exactly what I mean. Please send GIFs that fit that aesthetic, or pictures of your gear that fits the bill 💜

Playing around with virt-manager in #opensuse. #win98se running. Still fiddle around to share an image or folder with the host linux.
#zipdrive will be the playaround, if I can't manage :)

When was your last #Terminal session in #Windows3 to transfer a few driver files via xmodem protocol? My successful try is a few minutes ago and now the small and handy #HP #OmniBook #HP600C can speak with the #ZipDrive.

Old tech. Is this stuff of any use to anyone, or is it all just e-waste? I suspect the latter but it seemed worth asking before it goes for recycling. London, UK. Also a box of cables (network and coax mostly)
