Back when I was a kid, it's was more common to have #magnesium #metal chunks than #Pepto tablets for antacid. That was back in the 70's and 80s. Obviously even earlier. Then #zantac75 showed up and gave everyone who took it cancer. #Calcium and magnesium metal are both soft. Now that I think about it might have been calcium metal. I remember my mom used to grab the bar from inside a glass bottle that had oil in it. She would then cut a piece and give it to us to chew after a scare or for antacid
