I have tons of #Reaper (DAW) projects utilizing #Cakewalk's famous #Z3ta 2+ software synth, bought via #Steam. Since Cakewalk's demise (it now belongs to #Bandlab), it's a big problem to activate Z3ta on a new PC (or an old one with Windows reinstalled).

In fact it turned out it's impossible w/o installing Cakewalk! 'Cos only when it is installed an activation request-response procedure becomes available.

Alright, I've installed CW and re-activated Z3ta, simply because of my custom patches.

please recommend some #VST plugins about which i may not know or to which i may not have access!

i'm particularly interested in #synthesizers additive or subtractive.

there is a synth called #z3ta (z3ta+ 2 after it was bought by cakewalk which appears to go out of business beneath gibson) that i adore but cannot find anymore.

i also enjoyed a #nativeInstruments synthesizer called #FM7 and later #FM8 but was relatively unimpressed with #absynth; knob automation is important.
