My de-rusted #FM7 is not yet trusted. It intermittently does not boot to BASIC, but into a blinking cursor in top left corner. I guess it is trying to boot from a disk somehow even though there is no disk controller installed. Could it be a bad DIP switch?

Some #FM7 progress. The keyboard is nicely restored and the main board is clean as new, drying out after today's bath in window cleaner and distilled water. #FromRustedToTrusted

Working on my rusted #FM7. I was getting ready to desolder the switches so that the rusted keyboard plate could be fixed but it turned out that the PCB with the switches can be unscrewed and the key/switch tops can be pushed through using a flat screw driver and a finger.

#オホーツクに消ゆ のオリジナル版は #PC6001 ですが、#PC8801 #PC9801 #FM7 #MSX でも出てたのね。MSXは6001に色つけた感じかなと思ったら驚きの独自CG。88/98/FM7は同じのを使いまわしだね。Switchリメイク版に全部収録なら8800円でも買ってたのだが。ファミコン版とPC-9801リメイク版もね。(ﾟ-ﾟ)b #レトロゲーム #レトロPC
