Yuki-jinja (由岐神社) is located at the base of Mt Kurama, beside a zig-zagging path that climbs to the temple above.

Enshrined here are the gods Ōnamuchi (大己貴命) and Sukunahikona (少彦名命), collectively known as 'Yuki Daimyōjin'. Both are considered deities of medicine.

Imamiya-jinja's (今宮神社) 'Yasurai Festival' (やすらい祭 - 2nd Sunday in April), Kurama's 'Fire Festival' (鞍馬の火祭 - October 22nd) and Uzumasa's 'Bull Festival' (太秦の牛祭 - defunct since 2003) are known as Kyōto's '3 Eccentric Festivals' (京都三奇祭).
