Went out in the absolute pouring rain and strong wind for two hours to see king tide waves at Cape Perpetua and Yachats. I learned that my less than 1 year old hiking boots are no longer waterproof 😞 Also, the zipper along the lower leg that makes my rain pants easier to pull on over shoes also lets water in. Saw some great waves. Not the kind of logs rolling around high tide, but still quite fun to see. #oregoncoast #yachatsoregon
Went down to Yachats to watch waves. King tides coincided a high surf advisory, making for awesome seas. So much water pushing in, huge logs were being tossed around in the surf, some broken into pieces that shot up as waves broke against the rocks. Best of all, everyone was being safe, watching from the cliffs. #oregoncoast #kingtides #yachatsoregon
