It happened! It actually happened! All the full and half cross stitches are done! By now I also finished the decorative backstitches and removed the grit. Tomorrow I'll post the finished and framed piece ❤️

I had a really nice day out at the lake at the weekend. Later that day I finished the last full xstitches. What's now left are only background noice and backstitch details. Got a little helper who confused my hand with a flower and licked me❤️🐝
Lots of older folks from the retirement home nearby also enjoy the warm spring sun. They often come talking to me to see what I'm stitching and are surpriced and happy to see a young male presenting person doing that hobby 🥰

A couple more colors on #PixelSmaug. It def goes much slower now because of all the confetti. But it slowly becomes more defined shapes and colors.
