I started a digital painting course on Proko and this was the first pose, to be drawn in grayscale in art software. I did the first one of the human model, then redid the pose with Hoppo, with model sheets up for reference while I worked. I used primarily charcoal pencil brushes, so it's similar to how I've been working on toned paper so far. Two more poses in this part of the course, so probably two more versions of the pose as Disney fanart as well. #practice #fanart #disney #wuzzles #hippopotamus #rabbit #furryart
I finally finished up my practice with drawing characters from The Wuzzles. Not shown: pages and pages of drawings for each character, drawn frame-by-frame from animated sequences in the show I liked. I can already feel a small-but-noticeable improvement in my original art because of the practice, with Rhinokey being the last in the series.

Next up, my favorite pre-2000s Disney TV series: Adventures of the Gummi Bears.

Hoppo! She's my favorite of the Wuzzles. Colored pencils and inks on Bristol board. #traditionalart #mastoart #fanart #furryart #disney #wuzzles #rabbit #hippopotamus
Here's Butterbear and her butter butt. Normally backsides in this era of cartoon character are less round, but whatever. #wuzzles #bear #butterfly #furryart #traditionalart
I Wuzzled up Topaz and Sidney into Wolfabit. Original character please don't steal! #wuzzles #disney #wolf #rabbit #traditionalart #furryart
Crocosaurus is the main antagonist in The Wuzzles. I wanted to get some 80s reptile designs down for drawing Adina, and decided to continue on my Wuzzles practice journey to do so. #traditionalart #wuzzles #MastoArt #furryart #crocodile #dinosaur
And here's Eleroo, the half elephant/half kangaroo (and with a pouch?!). He was fun to draw, with the very visible shoulders and bean-like body.

Now I would draw more Wuzzles, but there was this little movie that came out called Zootopia 2, and I really want to draw those characters for a while. It's still Disney, so I'm counting it as part of this project. It's just 40 years ahead from the point I'm currently at.

Took a break from Thanksgiving prep to finish this Moosel drawing. I tried to limit the number of pencils I used to get better with blending and using the paper as a color source. There's also aspects of the prior stage I wish I had done in the final step -- that neck/shoulder curve in the pencils looks way better. Oh well. #fanart #disney #wuzzles #furryart #mastoart
I'm starting from the very beginning with my 80s-90s Disney TV character studies, going all the way back to The Wuzzles. If you've never watched it...eh. The Wuzzles came out around the time of Gummi Bears, the latter being the vastly superior show. At least the Wuzzles got a funny story in the DuckTales 2017 reboot.

Here's a breakdown of Moosel (moose/seal) talking. His antlers are all over the place in the original art, so I'm probably going to redesign them to be more like Tony Tony Chopper's antlers -- more dimensional and jutting out from his head perpendicular -- when I do the finished piece. #wipwednesday #fanart #disney #mastoart #wuzzles

Tonight’s #DrawFromMemory sketch: #Hoppo from The #Wuzzles!

Not shown are her wings, which I thought were butterfly-shaped. Turns out they’re single oval wings instead, haha.

Also forgot how her feet looked. Thought they were bunny paws, but nope, they be hippo.

She’s such a cute character <3
