Holy hell, the novel Hugo acceptance speech from Emily Tesh had me in tears 😭

These stories do mean something. They do matter. Tonight showed it over and over. From Gaza to the Torment Nexus and all the worst humanity can create, these stories should give us all hope. Maybe someone will pay attention to one and not build the Nexus—maybe a kid is reading Some Desperate Glory and asking "Are we the baddies?"
