My portable watercolour sketchbooks are bound in a soft cover made of upcycled leather. Their pages are off white 190gsm Saunders Waterford 100% cotton paper produced by St. Cuthberts Mill in the UK. The books have torn edges with an occasional watermark visible in some pages. Each book in this series has an antiqued metal ring on its back so they can be attached to a cord and connected together or used as a pendant.

Last week I finished my biggest #bookbinding project a daily #planner composed by 95 sheets, 380 pages, and 12 signatures. The planner was designed using #scribus, and an extension I wrote in #python, to generate the whole planner starting from a single page template. I’ve just been tired and needed a break. The world feels pretty heavy right now. I still have a lot of ideas, but with everything going on, it’s hard to feel like making art fits into the moment.
