That's not to say that I think that Altman isn't so bad. It's only to say that Andreessen is the biggest fan of fascists such as Curtis Yarvin and Balaji Srinivasan.
It seems to me that Andreessen is hateful and actively wants millions to die whereas Altman is "only" indifferent to billions dying. Hate seems more evil than indifference. But both are the dreg of the barrel of humanity.

David Culley@aral I remember when @parismarx did his #worstpersonintech poll at the end of 2022, and of course Elon Musk won. But entirely for the wrong reason.
People had been addicted to Twitter, some for 15 years. And Musk ruined Twitter for them, so they disliked him.
Like a child screaming and kicking at its parents after they take its favorite toy away.
They didn’t understand that Musk is a fascist who did exactly what he intended to do, rather than ruining Twitter as a side-effect of incompetence.

The day is finally here. It’s time to choose the Worst Person in Tech of 2023. After several rounds, it’s all come down to this. Rocket men Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos face off for the crown. We only wish the winner could be blasted into the sun as a reward! Here's how it works: You have until 5:30pm ET to vote. Live results are not available for this round. The winner will be announced live on our end-of-year livestream for Patreon supporters (starts at 4pm ET), with a public announcement across our social media channels to follow soon after. Let the voting begin! A couple notes: Yes, we're using Google Forms. It's not a ploy to collect your email address, as the little icon below this should indicate. I haven't turned that option on. We're using it for two reasons: Twitter's user base has splintered so using its polls wasn't a good option (not to mention not wanting to do any more than necessary on the Musk platform) and because every other option was just prohibitively expensive for some year-end fun.
