The 49th season of #WorldofOutlaws 410 sprint car #racing starts tonight at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida.

This track is big, fast, and wide. Not uncommon to see three wide racing.

On many short dirt tracks, with so much horsepower available, the drivers have to brake hard to get around a corner after rocketing down the front or back straights.

Not here. This is a "flat out" track, just unleash all 900 ponies at the green flag, and do not let up until you see a yellow, red or checkered.

Tonight and tomorrow night, the #WorldofOutlaws invade Williams Grove Speedway in Pennsylvania for the "National Open." The rivalry of the "Pennsylvania Posse" versus the WoO is legendary in the sport.

To celebrate Kings Royal Week at #Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, #Ohio, I have switched up my random desktop backgrounds on my #MacbookPro to show only pit shots of some #WorldofOutlaws winged #sprintcars.

This is the No. 17 of Bill Balog. He's a hard charger, but one of the smaller teams on the national stage. Crashed hard a couple of days ago in a turn 1 six-car wreck, but it appears they have it back together to chase the $200,000 to win Kings Royal 30-lap race tonight.

I have been looking for an alternative news site to read to avoid the regular political garbage news and I found out today that what used to be called Chris Economaki’s National Speed Sport News is now speedsport.com. NSSN gave me my first national press pass in 1981. Covered sprints, midgets and Indy cars on the West Coast for them for years. I could get into any race track in the country by flashing that pass. #racing #indycars #WorldofOutlaws

I am super stoked to be getting closer to a trip to Cali to see the #WorldOfOutlaws #sprintcars at Kings Speedway in Hanford. It is my annual trip to get dirty, smell the racing fuel, and watch drivers with balls of steel try to wrangle 900HP in a super light chassis around a third-mile track while staying sorta kinda in control.

And Kyle Larson’s schedule shows him in PA that weekend, so maybe the other drivers have a chance LOL. My money is always on the #2 of David Gravel.
