It's #WorldCleanAirDay and did you know that still millions of people die every year from burning fossil fuels? That's a 'Chornobyl' every 7 minutes or so! #Nuclear has an undeserved bad reputation, and actually saves people's lives simply by not polluting the air. It could save many more if we replaced dispatchable fossil with dispatchable nuclear.
It's #WorldCleanAirDay and it's a good moment to realise that clean #Nuclear energy has saved many lives. In 2013 NASA published a paper that it saved 1.8 million people from the disastrous effects of air pollution.

It's #WorldCleanAirDay and it's a good moment to point out how much nuclear energy contributed to having clean air. As short ago as 2005 Ontario still had 53 smog days. That went down to just 2 in 2014, after which they ceased completely. How? Because they shut down their coal plants and replaced them with clean nuclear.
Now they celebrate having clean lungs. Go #Nuclear!
