Jax UKI've been working from home in my current role for nearly 2 years. 3 other people started on the same day as me and we went through induction/training together as we were originally doing the same role, we got quite close and formed a lovely working friendship group. We've since all been promoted into different teams but we keep up our private slack channel, although we're all so busy that all we do is say good morning, then good night. But we all treasure that. None of us ever forget to say good morning to eachother and good night before logging off. Sometimes there will be more, sharing good news or the occasional rant about work, but most days it is just the wonderful, reliable, treasured, good morning and good night. I currently share an office with one other person but honestly, when we move offices to open plan with hot desking in about 5 months time, my back garden is going to be a very very big attractor.. Suspect a large number of colleagues feel the same. Not sure how we're going to handle it, especially given new hires coming in..
