I’m finding conflicting info online about the app Wonderdraft. I want to make a world map for my upcoming D&D campaign, but I’m unsure if this app actually works on MacOS. Their own website says yes, but then they only seem to offer a Windows file for unknown reasons. Is there someone familiar with this app that could confirm it runs on a Mac? Also open to anyone’s thoughts on whether it’s the best option to make world maps on a Mac. #DND #wonderdraft

Ungefähr 3x im Jahr hab ich Lust, fürs #pnpde Karten zu bauen. (Nicht zu zeichnen. Ich kann nicht zeichnen.)
Dann schau ich mich nach einfacher Software um. Von denen, die man testen kann, finde ich #Inkarnate am benutzerfreundlichsten. Aber die Preise dafür sind jenseits meines Kontostandes.

Jetzt die Frage:
Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung mit #Wonderdraft?

Das kommt vielleicht am ehesten an das heran, was ich suche. Und es hat kein Abo-Modell.

(Ich suche explizit keine Zufallsgeneratoren.)

Ich hatte mir damals(tm) #Dungeondraft und #Wonderdraft über #Humblebundle zugelegt, und nach dem Tod und Exorzismus des letzten Windowsrechners gemerkt, dass sie eine native #Linux version bieten.
Funktioniert einwandfrei.

Müller also launches with a separate pack of individual PNGs. It should make life much easier for you #Wonderdraft users. No more extracting symbols from an enormous PNG!

I went over the hexes with the path tool in #wonderdraft.
Then i'll be able to edit the grid to define the sub-hexes. I also refined the outline.

But first i'm gonna edit the landmass to fill the empty regional hexes with something else than plain sea.

the scale shown at the bottom is not accurate, i'll edit it later as well.

After that i took a screenshot of the topographic map of the continent
then import it in WONDERDRAFT

i start by outlying the hexes that will be the Regional Hexes.

Hace unos días comenté por aquí que en septiembre iba a publicar en Wattpad #ElÚltimoSacrificio, la primera novela de una saga de Fantasía épica, así que durante el mes de agosto voy a hacer un poco de autopromoción (tampoco mucha, la justa 🤭).

Una de las cosas que quiero hacer es un mapa del mundo donde se desarrolla la novela, porque el que tenía es bastante feo, y he pensado en ir compartiendo en este hilo los avances en la creación de ese mapa. Lo voy a ir haciendo con un programa que se llama Wonderdraft, que es la primera vez que uso, así que espero que el resultado sea al menos decente 👀 (porque yo para esas cosas de diseño y tal soy tirando a mala 🙃).
