I was reading an 8-year-old post from a blog that is 3 years dead (well, inactive). Not mine, I should say. And as I was reading the post, I came upon a relic of a forgotten era. Might date back to the Tumblrassic period, but I could be wrong. "Womyn." Anyone remember that spelling? I don't see much these days. And I bring it up not to bash it, but show why the use of #Latinx as an umbrella label worries me. Because to so many, it's not a trend to be forgotten, but an identity.
