I was exploring this statuary and had a chilling realization.
1: Masters have been controlling the "white" identity so long that default face of fallen soldier is him.
2: Enough "white" men have been killed that they need this level of inventory of memorial statues.
3: Even when we KNOW through extensive disclosure that the wars of the 20th century were all cash grabs, there is only solemn respect for the "white" man, yet he was unjustly sent to his death to protect the masters property.
