I'm wondering if I actually got #Whammed while watching a show yesterday.

There was a version of the song that played briefly in the background, but it didn't play long enough for me to identify if it was the original version or not. It was definitely George Michael and THE song, though.

I may as well consider myself in #Whamhalla. I've already lost the #MariahCarey version of the game this year.

Below is the participation medal that we used to hand out and one of my sci-fi fan groups back in the day. I've updated it for 2025. I should actually be posting to for everybody who has lost so far!

I usually don't go out enough to lose either game, but this year was exceptional. I have never been whammed by a TV show before! I had no idea that the show was going to go SO Christmasy on me. Grrrrr 🤣

Well I made it to just now without getting #whammed.

I did hear a Spanish-language cover last night in a restaurant, but I was feeling happy about how far I'd made it.

Then I just logged into the company All Hands Meeting and Wham! And I normally mute it when I log in because it's just lots of chatter and music. But I didn't this time.

Oh well, made it to the 19th.
