@notthatkaren @whoosh I agree completely, as I've already written in my review for this #kdrama

I was positively surprised by the actress #JeonJongSeo . I didn't know her and she nailed her FL role!
On the other hand #MoonSangMin was a disappointment. He needs to grow as actor and at times I wished the ML role was given to #KimDoWan

#WeddingImpossible

@whoosh I gave up on this one part way through. I felt like the ML needed more experience (or something) to pull off a leading role convincingly. He just came across as flat to me. Add that to the story starting to fall apart mid-way, I simply couldn't be bothered to finish it even as just a fluffy watch. The potential was there, just not the execution of it. Glad your’e back to doing reviews again!

Wedding Impossible
(2024 - Viki, 12 1:10 eps)

The 1st half of this show was great with lots of promise. Is it some kDrama curse that the writers give up 1/2 way through?

They had some great characters with wonderful chemistry but the writers went nowhere with the most important stories.

A struggling actress has been friends with a jaebol since high school & he arranges a contract marriage with her. The younger brother and another conglomerate wedding candidate become involved, along with other siblings fighting for a position & things are a good mess with so many potential stories that are just dropped.

A good fluff watch, but not much more.

Na Ah Jeong works as an extra actress. She's talented as an actress, but she has not been recognized for her work at all. She has experience acting as...

@jcurries He's young and up until recently he was a full time model. A poker face is what he's been taught to keep all the time when modeling.
However it's a pity for the #kdrama because would he have been just a tiny bit better, the chemistry in the couple was a given with such a strong actress.

#kdrama updates:
I finished #Reply1988 and #ShopaholicLouis, both of which I loved. Reply had 20 episodes, which I rarely appreciate, even though it was awesome. Louis was just plain fun!
#CurrentlyAiring: #QueenOfTears, which is epic. I'm happy to rewatch episodes. A great mixture of vibes with lots of layers unfolding.
Watchparties: #TheTaleOfNokdu, a fast-moving gender-bending sageuk with a couple of great leads.
#CaptivatingTheKing: only one episode so far.
Next up: #WeddingImpossible?

The screenwriting was top notch on this #kdrama
#JeonJongSeo in the role of Na A-Jeong was a true revelation, as she nailed the part in every aspect.

However I didn't particularly appreciate #MoonSanMin's performance as Lee Ji-han. His facial expressions are unreadable most of the time and I was only satisfied during the last episode when he acted drunk or jealous.

A lovely #KimDoWan as second ML made this contrast even sharper.

@sirsean agreed! Oddly I found that the ML acting significantly improved in the last episode. He can play drunk, silly and jealous better than all the rest so far.

@sirsean awesome screenwriting but I think #MoonSangMin still needs to grow as an actor. His expressions are off most of the time. It could have been much better with someone else

Husband is out of town for a couple of days and I have used this as an excuse to watch an ungodly amount of #Kdrama

In related news, I’m almost caught up on #WeddingImpossible 🤭

#kDrama OK it looks like people are watching #QueenofTears #WeddingImpossible and #TheImpossibleHeir and they’re all currently airing?!😫
Which one should I start first? 😛
