I finished #Reply1988 and #ShopaholicLouis, both of which I loved. Reply had 20 episodes, which I rarely appreciate, even though it was awesome. Louis was just plain fun!
#CurrentlyAiring: #QueenOfTears, which is epic. I'm happy to rewatch episodes. A great mixture of vibes with lots of layers unfolding.
Watchparties: #TheTaleOfNokdu, a fast-moving gender-bending sageuk with a couple of great leads.
#CaptivatingTheKing: only one episode so far.
Next up: #WeddingImpossible?

D+Sadly, that daily learning isn't the norm for some folks but I'm thrilled to keep on learning! I love the #kdrama like #MisterSunshine that uses multiple languages instead of having foreigners speak the local language. #ShopaholicLouis starts out with plenty of French and English, beautifully spoken! Seo In-Guk did a LOT of #LanguageLearning after #DoomAtYourSevice!

It's been on my watchlist but somehow, #ShopaholicLouis made it onto my screen instead! Maybe because I'm already watching a couple of #sageuks and it's already so easy for me to confuse one king with another.

Finished #BrandingInSeongsu but I’m afraid it didn’t do much for me. I liked the ML & FL and thought they were good with the body-swap, but I didn’t get invested & started fast-forwarding a lot toward the end. Didn’t care for any of the side characters. Humor is so mysterious - in #ShopaholicLouis I thought the side characters were hilarious (especially the too-loud manager & the weird employee who always knew what was going on), but in this one they didn’t make me laugh once 🤷🏻♀️ #Kdrama
Can’t believe how fast I finished #ShopaholicLouis Cute and so funny! I didn’t like the slapsticky stuff in the 1st episode, but episodes 2-12 made me laugh SO much. I wish they hadn’t tacked on the last 4 episodes, though. Like adding sugar to a sweet dessert - it doesn’t make it better, guys!🙄 #Kdrama

Shopping King Louie (Louis / Shopaholic Louis)

It's a full-of-tropes romcom - a rich chaebol with amnesia falling for a poor, country girl (100 Days My Prince story with same FL), but is so cute that it's hard not to love it. It avoids being too melodramatic. The story is pretty predictable with some tiny surprises. The OST is very fun - a lot of western oldies.
Seo In Guk being silly is so darling! I've only seen him in serious things before, but he is great at being a puppy in love. Nam Ji Hyun plays a strong, determined woman very well. The leads have great chemistry & the side characters have sweet little stories of their own. My favorite grandma, Kim Young Ok makes a great conglomorate Chairperson.
A very fun, relaxing watch!
