@leoncowle

Forgot to mention, but this is a feature I like a lot (both in the app and the webapp) that shows today's rain, the event total, and the rate.

#WeatherNetwork

Happy 6 pm (or 18:00) #sunset .
Dat b some "The day after 2morrow" kool'n down shit!!!😱🧊πŸ₯ΆπŸ€―
Or da #WeatherNetwork 's AI b πŸ–• 'd up πŸ€ͺ

The Weather Network site says we're expecting a fair amount of rain. Their precipitation map confirms that, but their radar map doesn't show anything at all for this area. Odd.

Hey #Fedi what #Android #App do you use for #Weather ? I normally use the #weathernetwork app but honestly the ads are getting kinda dumb. Any suggestions for ads with a lesser ad load?

While take'n a break on da snowshoe with Cgurl, we were both commenting on how off da #weathernetwork was again, with it's overly optimistic sun forecast.
12-4 pm partly sunny [NOT]
4-8 cloudy
Ppfif da Minachan #sunset dial says, πŸ–• U WN at a sunset b hap'n 2nite!
She b da πŸ’© when it comes 2 sunset prognostication!!! So b da flag pole next door when it comes to wind direction and speed.
[And no, he does not give her special consideration, nor does Kawaii help with predictions😜]
#LockBit has listed #Pelmorex. The attack happened earlier this month and resulted in disruptions to the #WeatherNetwork and #MΓ©tΓ©oMΓ©dia's services in Canada.
#Weather in the US Midwest and Ontario and Quebec in Canada is very much driven by the #GreatLakes. These are huge reservoirs of heat and (obviously) moisture. The #weathernetwork has a good overview here looking to the winter. Basically, less #ice cover means more snow and more evaporation (lower lake levels). September is still "summer" for the Lakes, and they will be warmer than the air for another month or so - that is why we sample into Dec (and winter if we can).

How the Great Lakes influence fall and winter weather in Ontario

The Weather Network's Mark Robinson examines the role water temperatures in the Great Lakes play in weather systems during fall and winter.

@hewer_of_code Thanks for sharing that. It’s too bad, until now a great service. I’ve deleted the Weather Network app. I think they’re not being as transparent as they should be with us users regarding the cyber security issue - especially since they can track and report our location. Now I’m looking for a good alternative #weathernetwork
