#WeUsedToLiveHere is so far my favourite horror book I’ve read this year.

A couple fixing an old isolated Victorian house hear the doorbell ring late in the evening.

A family is at the door. The husband would like to take a tour of the house where he grew up.

What follows is a surreal, creepy and disorienting nightmare. There are some great nods to #HouseOfLeaves.
