We have the tools, and it is up to the people to exercise personal responsibility to use them wisely. Trust the individual, don't hold them, or society for that matter, hostage for a contagious painful rash with more than a few chronic complications but a 90-95% survival rate.

@kevinrns what many are missing is that we NEED to move to a #GreenHydrogen economy. Every KWh currently curtailed (thrown away because of lack of demand) needs to be stored in #batteries and then via #electrolyzers stored as #hydrogen. While the #FossilFuelMafia will tell you the efficiency of conversion is low, it isn't zero, which curtailment is!
Hydrogen is a much better fuel due to higher energy density than gas. Heavy machinery, airplanes, trucks, busses, and cargo ships can often be converted with little costs to run on #hydrogen and so can the natural gas and pipeline system in existence.

After searching for months, I found a #CovidSafe hair salon in #LosAngeles earlier this year. The salon is located in a small converted house, has two doors which are kept open for the cross breeze. The stylist wears a KN95 or N95 respirator, and works alone if you request it at booking. (Highly recommended)

The CO2 reading stayed below 500 ppm for the duration my appointment.

I tried to explain to someone the benefits of having a #co2 meter. It allows for informed decision based on the #airborne exposure of a particular space. But he says that he would rather not let the readings dictate how he lives his life.

He’s not a #covid denier and is usually good about masking. But I couldn’t explain that the risks affecting his life are already there and #co2meter would simply help him have more control over whether what he does is worth the risk.
