It's berry season! I had a delicious lunchtime walk in the great Watershed Park today. Native trailing blackberries and red blackberries, plus the first few invasive Himalayan blackberries. (I fight them the rest of the year, but I'll enjoy them for the rest of the summer.)

My two youngest kids and I reflected in the pool of a spring in the woods above our house in rural southwest Washington state. This was a fun autumn outing.
