First posted to papers #FissionDiscord July 2020. This has come up several times as it features several schemes with RSA Accumulators, used in #WNFS

@ryanleesipes very cool!

I’d love to talk more with Thunderbird about interest in #WNFS, the encrypted file system https://GitHub.com/wnfs-wg

More like an open source Dropbox or iCloud, focused on sync and keeping files private to each user.

You can try it out at https://odd.dev, along with a passwordless login system.

Have y’all settled on an accounts system?

@pinkyfloyd yep! I’d like to see our #WNFS encrypted file system have a plugin for those systems.

So, be able to store your files on Nextcloud but then use them like an iCloud plugin for others to build apps on.

@billseitz @jessmartin yep. @fission has our protocol components of #UCAN, #WNFS, and #IPVM which actually are all designed as protocols that make for interoperable worlds — so I disagree with your Y axis ;)

Bottom right leads to open worlds

I’m helping to organize #IPFSThing

It was an incredible experience last year across protocols, projects and of course — people!

We’ll have a good chunk of the @fission attending and presenting, there will be #UCAN, #WNFS, and #IPVM working group sessions.

Latest in the series - my adventures with the new release of @fission's #Webnative SDK v0.35

Walking through some key learnings:
- how to play nicely with Angular
- creating and linking accounts without visiting the Fission Auth Lobby
- pulling in File System changes made from other browsers/devices
- (are there ways to automate this?)

Check out this adorable mascot for our friends at @capyloon designed by @bruno_monts! Did you know that Capyloon is building an open source mobile OS using the #IPFS protocol, #UCANs, and #WNFS? Learn all about it on our blog! https://fission.codes/blog/capyloon/

The next chapter in this learning journey exploring the #Webnative SDK, covering:

- how "device linking" works (and the speed bumps I encountered)

- a strategic pivot to the upcoming v0.35 release of the SDK
