@caw_ Williams College Museum of Art still does not publish provenance for artworks in its own collection.
Not even European artworks created before 1945 and acquired after 1933.
The absence of this information is problematic and undermines other efforts.
A great #research #project for students would be to publish the Nazi-era provenance information online.
