Vote Riders, one of my favorite organizations that deals directly with voter ID (and it’s use as a voter suppression tool) has great volunteer opportunities coming up to help with the August 8th Ohio Special Election.

I really hope some of you can sign up to help, as Ohio’s voter ID laws have gotten much stricter this year, an obvious attempt by Republicans to suppress voters in an election they’re already hoping will have low turnout.
