Op deze zaterdag mag de mooiste oranjeoutfit weer uit de kast voor de viering van Koningsdag. Een nationale feestdag, op de verjaardag van koning Willem-Alexander. In de meeste dorpen en steden in ons land worden festiviteiten georganiseerd met muziek, dans, vrijmarkten en kermissen. Toch lijkt in Limburg de impact van Koningsdag, of voorheen Koninginnedag, veel kleiner dan in de rest van Nederland.
