I've just learned that this little guy is the only Northern #viscacha living in Europe! 😳 He's over 20 years old, which seems to be an age record for these animals, even in captivity. When this grandpa passes away, there will be no more Northern viscachas on our continent. As you may have guessed, #Viscachas are closely related to #chinchillas.
