Just a short little #blog update today - with all the good news going on around here, and the usual springtime rush of fresh energy, I'm going to be resuming work on #PETI, the homebrew #VirtualPet I started work on back in 2019.

There's just one itty bitty problem: the development branch is about six months stale and I have no sweet clue what the hell I was up to from back then.

I will be disentangling that during lab hours on my twitch channel tomorrow.

So this is a weird vpet that I picked up years ago: it's the Virtual Boyfriend (there's also a Virtual Girlfriend, depending on your preference). There are a number of "boyfriends" you can be lumped with on start-up, and they are all varying degrees of horrible, but differ widely in personality. The way you respond to them will affect the outcome of the game. You date them, buy them gifts, take them places, etc. Things can get spicy if you so choose. This here is Charlie. 🤔

Guys, I think I came to realize something:

After attempting to get 15 victories with both Digimon, Greymon lost to Agumon at round 11, and Kabuterimon went all the way through.

I think Kabuterimon is better than Greymon. Greymon can pack a punch, but he cannot seem to beat Agumon. Kabuterimon is slightly weaker, but he had better luck.

I hope Kabuterimon digivolves now.

Hey, would anyone be interested in #commissions where I take people’s digivices and paint them chrome?

You get to choose what kind of chrome you want, from matte to shiny. $5 USD a pop. However, I need to train myself so the Digivice will still work after putting it all back together.
