Il 27.5.93, qualche minuto dopo l’una, in via dei Georgofili a Firenze una violentissima esplosione sconvolse il centro della città. Persero la vita cinque persone e parecchie altre rimasero ferite. Andò distrutta la Torre dei Pulci, sede dell’Accademia dei Georgofili, che seppellì i quattro membri della famiglia Nencioni, custode dell’Accademia

Florence, the great massacre in the heart of the city.

On May 27, 1993, a few minutes after one o’clock, in Via dei Georgofili in Florence, a violent explosion shook the city center. Five people lost their lives and several others were injured. The Tower of the Pulci, headquarters of the Academy of Georgofili, collapsed, burying the four members of the Nencioni family, the Academy’s custodian.
