Series ebb and flow, but 8 books in, Veronica and Stoker's adventures still have legs. And her woolgathering over him in this is book is a delight.

#amreading "A Curious Beginnning" by Deanna Raybourn. It's the first book in the Veronica Speedwell series. Victorian adventure with a highly (and proudly) inappropriate young woman as the natural historian protagonist. Snappy writing, lots of fun.
