A somewhat better look at Jupiter & Venus with my DSLR this evening, as they approach their closest apparent separation or "appulse".
Although the two planets are saturated, this allows all four Galilean moons of Jupiter to be seen against our light-polluted skies, as well as some field stars.
Nikon D7000 + 18-200mm lens at 200mm, 0.4 sec, f/7.1, ISO1000, 68 images registered & stacked in Siril.

A quick & dirty phone shot through my binoculars – at least a couple of the Galilean moons visible here & all four clear by eye.
DSLR photos to follow 👍
Nothing to be seen of Venus & Jupiter at the moment of sunset, although the crow on the left appears to be expectantly awaiting this evening’s show 🙂
As seen from the top floor of ESA’s ESTEC, looking over the dunes to the southwest, at 18:17 CET.
Time to go home & take some serious photos 🤞
