Advancements in Estonian #evoting controversy:

2) Vice-President of parliament requested an assessment of #InternetVoting from OSCE #ODIHR and #VeniceCommission https://eerk.ee/vice-president-of-estonian-parliament-requests-an-opinion-from-osce-in-cooperation-with-the-estonian-nationalists-and-conservatives/

Academy committee was led by CSO of #Cybernetica, the local e-voting monopoly since 2004, and the Vice-President represents the whole parliamentary opposition. What next?

🐴 #CoE and other international legal standards have clearly been breached by using #Pegasus for political purposes, said rapporteur @PieterOmtzigt in the #PACE debate on the report about the use of #spyware in Europe, #Nepszava reports.
The document has been adopted on Wednesday. They call countries to refrain from using Pegasus-type software until their laws on secret surveillance meet the requirements of the #ECHR . #PACE would leave the assessment of this to the #VeniceCommission
