I used to be a big fan of #Valiantcomics until I stopped reading comics altogether. After getting over that I’ve been reading comics again for a few years now.

However, I wanted to try something different. I’d heard Valiant was shaking things up & I remembered really liking #Harbinger. So I gave All New Harbinger a go & read all 5 issues. Oh my goodness, it’s fantastic!

Van Lente’s writing is top-notch & Tamayo’s art is simply brilliant. I can’t wait for the next issue!

I saw this flipping through my digital #comics collection. I remember being at a #ValiantComics panel a con in Portland when they unveiled this cover. People gasped and then applauded.

For context, Dr. Mirage could essentially call up and talk to the spirit of any dead person. EXCEPT her husband, for unknown reasons. She traveled to the Deadside and back searching for him. This makes the cover so powerful, beautiful, and a nice spoilery teaser.

in the new issue (3), they start by saying that vampire babies are a world ending threat, and the first vampire baby was born in Africa and the British Army did the 2nd Boer War to kill it and save the world,

the second time was in 1945 Japan and Japan made a deal with America to DROP THE NUKES in order to kill the baby and save the world

The new Harbinger Omnibus (original 90s series) from #ValiantComics lists the Kickstarter backers as "Producers" at the end. They've released the PDF today, the print will follow sometime next year.
